Young talents lost: Figure skating sisters killed in plane crash in Washington D.C.
Washington D.C., (USA) - On Wednesday evening, a military helicopter collided with a passenger airplane in the U.S. capital of Washington, D.C. , claiming the lives of 64 people - including a figure skating family.

Sadly, 14-year-old Everly Livingston and her 11-year-old sister Alydia, who had a glorious future ahead of them, died far too young along with their parents in this devastating accident.
As the New York Post reported, the family was on their way home from the US Figure Skating Championships when the accident happened.
Just a year ago, the then 13-year-old Everly spoke about her successes and her future on the ice.
"My goal is actually to be a part of Team USA and travel around the world," she said in a moving video.
Her sister was also a remarkable figure skater. Together they were part of the Washington Figure Skating Club and regularly shared clips on social media.
Just five days before her tragic death, the sisters posted one last photo together.
The two were among the 14 people from the US figure skating community who died on board the passenger plane.
