Women stage mass cry after Trump victory: "Release our pain"
Whitefish Bay (USA) - Several women from the US state of Wisconsin have protested against the election victory of Donald Trump (78) with a powerful primal scream .
As Fox News reported, the gathering for the female mass cry was intended to relieve "pain, anger and frustration".
According to the report, several women met at Lake Michigan in mid-November to shout together against US President-elect Donald Trump.
At the same time, the aim was to come to terms with the defeat of Democratic opponent Kamala Harris (60).
Recordings of the screaming women went viral on social media and triggered various reactions.
Some of the two dozen or so women also took the opportunity to jump into the water, screaming and cooling off.
"What a glorious morning to gather in Klode Park in Whitefish Bay and have a primal scream to get our post-election frustrations out," wrote local resident Tamara Gibbs in a Facebook post.
Women want to fight back against Republican government
Gibbs also showed a video of the women standing in a circle trying to cheer each other up after the election.
"We need to start organizing. We have the opportunity to take back the legislature in our own state in two years," one woman said to thunderous applause.
^"We don't want to scream helplessly at the sky," explained another participant. "We want to scream like a pack of wolves to overthrow the government."
