Woman is shocked when she sees old photo of her great-grand aunt for the first time

South Jersey (USA) - "This is crazy," says Priscilla Blazer (21) about an ancient photo of her great-aunt Emeline Breder Winterbottom, which she recently saw for the first time. The reason: Blazer thinks she looks just like her relative, who lived from 1898 to 1974. On TikTok a few days ago, the US American from South Jersey compared the photo, in which her great-grand aunt is around 15 years old, with her own picture, in which she can be seen at the same age.

Since then, it has become clear that Blazer is not alone in her opinion. The curious photo show has received more than 1.5 million clicks so far, plus a good 275,000 likes.

"I had never seen pictures of her before because my great-grandmother died when my grandmother was young," the 21-year-old told Newsweek.

"I didn't know anything about her, but I couldn't believe how much she looked like me, especially when I was younger," she added.

Even if the TikTok audience mostly agrees on the topic of resemblance, they have something to criticize on another point.

Blazer takes a stand on criticism in second TikTok video

Some users complain that it is not so unusual for relatives to look alike. But Blazer doesn't want to let this argument stand.

In another TikTok video, she takes a stand and calculates that Winterbottom is the sister of her father's mother's mother. Therefore, they would only share six percent of her genes.

This is another reason why a majority are similarly intrigued. "Everyone has said it's just so crazy and creepy, and some say it could be reincarnation," the TikToker told the US magazine.

Incidentally, she has now tasted blood: "Now I'm excited to find out more about Emeline and my other ancestors."
