Woman claiming to be Maddie McCann arrested in England!

Bristol (England) - Two years ago, she caused a stir by claiming to be Madeleine McCann, who had been missing since 2007. Now Julia Wandelt (23), also known as Julia Wendell or Julia Faustyna, has been arrested at Bristol Airport together with a friend.

The Polish woman was taken away in handcuffs just minutes after she landed on Wednesday, Leicestershire Police told the New York Post.

Wandelt, who came from Wroclaw, wanted to visit her friend, an elderly woman. "A 23-year-old woman from Poland and a 60-year-old woman from Wales were arrested on suspicion of stalking in connection with aggravated harassment. Both remain in custody and the investigation is ongoing," a police spokesperson told the US magazine.

A few days earlier, Wandelt had suddenly claimed that DNA test results "strongly support" her theory of being related to Madeleine's father Gerry McCann.

For months, the Polish woman has been posting videos on TikTok again in which she claims to be Madeleine McCann.

Two years ago, things looked very different.

In April 2023, Wandelt had actually suffered a clear setback. At the time, a DNA test revealed that she could not be the missing Maddie McCann.

It turned out that she was of Polish, Lithuanian and Romanian descent. For this reason, the young woman also apologized to the parents of the missing girl at the time.

However, Wandelt no longer wants to know anything about this. She has been referring to Gerry and Kate McCann as her parents for a while now. The "actual DNA results" of a "world expert" have shown that she is part Irish and part British, she says.

What exactly Wandelt wanted in England is unclear. It remains to be assumed that she wanted to visit her "parents" Gerry and Kate McCann.
