Serious accident: Royal soldier falls and rams his own weapon into his head

According to the German Press Agency, the soldier rammed it into the right side of his head, directly behind his ear.
Due to the severity of the injury, his life was initially in danger. His comrades immediately rushed to his aid - he was immediately taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery.
A spokesperson for the palace later confirmed that the soldier had been stabilized and that his condition had since improved.
For safety reasons, the bayonets were temporarily removed from the rifles of the other soldiers while the cold weather conditions lasted.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
