Mother (†32) kills her four little girls! Husband swears: "She was not a monster"
Byron (USA) - The terrible deeds of Tranyelle Harshman (†32) have been causing worldwide horror since last week. The US-American shot her four daughters and then executed herself. Her husband, of all people, the father of two of the girls killed, is now defending her. Other surviving relatives also promise that Harshman was "not a monster".

On February 10, Harshman opened fire on her children in the US town of Byron, seemingly out of nowhere. Both the girls she had with husband Cliff Harshman, Brooke and Jordan (both 2), and the daughters with ex-partner Quinn Blackmer, Brailey (9) and Olivia (7), died. Three of the little girls died the same day, Olivia last weekend at the hospital.
The Big Horn County Wyoming Sheriff's Office took over the investigation. Since then, the question of "why" has also preoccupied relatives and social media.
Cliff Harshman, to whom the 32-year-old had been married for around five years, tried to make sense of his wife's horrific actions: "My wife was not a monster," he said in a tearful interview with Cowboy State Daily.
The US-American, who lost his two daughters and his wife within one day, explained that his partner had suffered from general depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and postpartum depression.
Tranyelle Harshman shot her daughters, but her husband emphasizes: "She was an incredible mother"

"Most people don't understand how this affects the brain. It's a chemical imbalance," Harshman explained. "It can get worse if you try to fix it with medication."
He emphasized to KTVQ, "People don't understand that mental illness is more than just a matter of willpower." His wife's actions were "completely out of character", he said. "She was an incredible mother and she loved those children." Despite his anger, he would still love her.
Briana Baker, a good friend of the couple, also spoke out in favor of Tranyelle Harshman's character. She was "sweet, loving and funny," she told the Scripps News Group.
"You never know what someone is struggling with on the inside. Tranyelle was not the monster she has become as a result of this tragedy. Her loved ones don't want her to be remembered for her darkest moments."
