Man goes to the hairdresser after eight years, demands a radical cut: this is how he looks now
Richmond (Virginia) - A new case of hardship for hair artist Thai Nguyen (25) from Richmond, Virginia: this weekend he is back with a new TikTok video that packs a punch. The hairdresser's guest: a young man who hasn't had his hair cut for eight years.
In the curious video, the customer with the extra-long hair sits in Nguyen's salon. "I'm really tired of always having to put it up and all that stuff," he explains his move.
He had also seen the hair influencer's videos. The young US-American now wants a radical cut. "Cut it off", he urges Nguyen.
He first wants to know whose idea it was. His guest then looks to his right and smiles. Shortly afterwards, his girlfriend is standing next to him. "He already had the long hair when we met," she tells the hairdresser.
It quickly becomes clear that, alongside her boyfriend, she is another driving force behind the change - partly because they are celebrating their fifth anniversary. So Nguyen gets to work for the couple.

He steps on the brakes a little, leaving his customer a certain length that falls loosely backwards. The beard also gets a touch-up, is trimmed and shortened a little.
"Oh shit, damn, I like it a lot," are the young man's first words when he sees himself in the mirror. In the end, he gives the hairdresser ten out of ten points.
But what does his girlfriend say? The young woman beams and immediately confirms to Nguyen that she is also delighted with the result.
The audience on TikTok also seems to enjoy the video, which has already achieved more than 280,000 clicks and around 35,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
