Lamborghini on fire: Hundreds of thousands of euros burn here

Lupfig - A sad sight for all car enthusiasts: a Lamborghini caught fire in Switzerland on Saturday evening.

The emergency call was received shortly after 10 p.m., as reported by the cantonal police.

A Lamborghini was on fire on the road in Lupfig (canton of Aargau).

The fire department and police rushed to the scene. The driver, who was only 19 years old, was able to free himself from the vehicle and remained uninjured.

It is not yet known why the expensive sports car (costing around 200,000 euros) suddenly caught fire and has to be investigated. Initial findings point to a technical cause.

The road between Hausen and Lupfig had to be closed while the fire was being extinguished.
