Austria - A little lamb from Austria had anything but an easy start in life: After being born prematurely, it lost both its mother and its brother shortly afterwards. But it got even worse!
His owners, the operators of the TikTok channel"harryemmel", hoped that one of the other ewes would adopt the little baby, but the rest of the flock rejected the lamb. Even the other young animals had no interest in playing with little Simon.
Suddenly the little lamb was all alone and it was feared that this stroke of fate could cost him his life.
But a rescuer was close by: Farm dog Digby, a Labrador, didn't hesitate for a second and took care of the little orphan. In a video that has been clicked millions of times and summarizes Simon's fate, you can see how sheep and dog find each other.
It seems that Digby instinctively sensed that the little lamb needed a friend when everyone else had rejected him.

And even if he certainly can't replace the deceased mother, the four-legged friend gives the baby sheep a lot of love, attention and security. He shows the lamb that it is not alone and that there is hope. This is also illustrated by videos on TikTok, which show Simon looking much happier and more relaxed.
The Labrador's behavior is no great surprise to his owners: the furry friend is the "boss" of the small farm and takes great care of all the residents.
It was always important to him that everyone on the farm was happy - whether big or small.
