Golden retriever constantly steals stuffed animals from toddler: then her mistress is stunned

Pennsylvania (USA) - Most dogs love cuddly toys - regardless of whether their owners are enthusiastic about them. If necessary, the four-legged friends will snatch the toys without further ado. Golden Retriever "Stanley" from the US state of Pennsylvania also developed a fondness for the stuffed animals after a baby was born in the family. However, the dog had certain demands.

It didn't go unnoticed by owner Megan Callahan that her dog was constantly carrying around cuddly toys that actually belonged to her son Benjamin (1). After observing the behavior for some time, however, she noticed a pattern.

The golden retriever preferred certain toys.

Stanley himself became famous on TikTok as the "Mohawk Dog", as he had had a real punk hairstyle on his head since birth.

And as if the four-legged friend knew about his funny haircut, Stanley only chose cuddly toys that also had a tuft of hair sticking out of the top of their head.

For example, the golden retriever cuddled with young Simba from the Disney classic"The Lion King" and with the squeaky green Christmas hater "Grinch".

Megan published a video of his cute fondness on her TikTok channel. Perhaps this made the dog feel like he was among his own kind, or perhaps he saw the cuddly toys with the same hairstyle as his babies.

One thing is certain in any case: the golden retriever's action is sweet as sugar!
