For a good cause: woman and dog run once around their home in the middle of the water

Jersey (UK) - To raise money for a charity, a woman ran an ultramarathon - with her dog !

Natalie Hodge and her springer spaniel Fleur ran once around their home for a good cause - namely the British island of Jersey in the English Channel between England and France.

As the BBC reported, Hodge ran 48.3 kilometers and her dog ran a proud 42.2 kilometers at her side.

The pair raised over 2,000 euros in donations for the mental health charity Jersey Mind.

Hodge emphasized that it was an important cause for her, as she had already lost people to mental illness.

"There are people out there who are struggling and Jersey Mind is a charity that is free to visit and supports a lot of people," she said.
