Dramatic search: 11-year-old slips and sinks into river!
London - Dramatic search in Great Britain : An 11-year-old schoolgirl falls into the water while playing - since then there has been no trace of her!
According to the Daily Mail, Kaliyah Coa was in the shallows of the River Thames with two friends on Monday when a dramatic incident occurred.
She apparently slipped on moss, lost her footing and fell into the water. A nine-year-old boy tried to hold her by the hand, but was unable to do so.
A woman who was nearby also tried to save the girl with a life ring, but this attempt was also unsuccessful. Since then, there has been no trace of the eleven-year-old.
Only her socks, shoes, a coat and her cell phone were later found on the shore and recoveredby the police .
The girl has not yet been found
The police immediately launched a large-scale search operation, searching the area both in the water and from the air using helicopters and boats. Despite intensive efforts, Kaliyah has not yet been found.
The whole city has been shakenby the tragedy and rescue workers continue to search the affected area in the hope of finding the girl.
