Car crashes into tanker truck: Young TikTok girl dies in tragic accident!

Kırkağaç (Turkey) - Turkish social media star Gizem Özmen, also known as Lavinia, has died at the age of 24 in a horrific traffic accident near the provincial capital of Manisa.

As reported by CNN Türk, two people were killed in Kırkağaç in an accident in which a car crashed into a tanker truck parked on the hard shoulder. According to Hürriyet, the incident occurred on a highway at around 9 a.m. on February 15.

Police, firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident, but only discovered that the two occupants of the car had died. Both the driver of the car and the passenger, Gizem Özem, died at the scene. The driver of the tanker truck survived.

Özem's last post on TikTok dates back to February 13 and has already been viewed over six million times. Users expressed their condolences in the comments section of the clip.

On February 18, one of her relatives apparently published a post on her account announcing that he would soon make a statement about the tragedy. Gizem Özmen mainly published Turkish-language content online. She has over 190,000 followers on TikTok.
