Many fans had to dig deep into their pockets to get tickets for the "Oasis Live '25" reunion tour. However, many enthusiasts of the Gallagher brothers also fell into ticket traps.

The British Lloyds Bank has now published a report stating that fans are said to have lost an average of around 412 euros to ticket fraudsters, in exceptional cases even up to 1190 euros.

All of the Wonderwall band's gigs were sold out within a very short space of time. According to the BBC, ten million fans from 158 countries tried to get one of 1.4 million concert tickets.

Those who had no luck with the official ticket sales tried other means. For example, via (fake) advertisements that were circulating on social networks. Lloyds Bank assumes that hundreds of fans have been taken in by fraudsters and suspects a further increase in cases of fraud.

A high density of fraudulent ads was found on Facebookin particular. The US internet company Meta, which is behind Facebook, has its own trading guidelines that prohibit the sale of concert tickets.

50,000 Oasis tickets must be invalidated

At the end of October, it was announced that 50,000 tickets were to be invalidated by the organizers Live Nation and SJM. These were tickets that had been resold by ticket holders. The reason for the invalidation is the violation of the general terms and conditions, which prohibit the resale of tickets.

Anyone who has not purchased their tickets directly should check the validity of their tickets.

But there is also good news: The 50,000 tickets are soon to be made available again on Ticketmaster at the regular prices (up to 220 euros)!
