Attack-happy leopard attacks guests during picnic!

Madhya Pradesh (India) - A leopard has attacked a group of people in the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India! Three people are said to have been injured by the claws and fangs of the aggressive animal.

According to Times of India, a woman and two men were injured in the attack in Khitauli village on Sunday, October 20 (local time).

"The woman sustained serious injuries when the leopard dug its claws into her head," Bhupendra Nabu Pandey, head of Sohagpur police station, told Times of India.

An off-duty policeman was also seriously injured, he added.

A video on X shows the moment when the leopard pounces on one of the men present. It can be seen how the big cat storms out of a nearby forest and attacks the man for seconds. Other guests scare the animal away again with loud noises.

According to the report, around 50 people took part in the picnic and were on site. The information could not be independently verified.
