Doctors declare man dead: Shock follows at the stake!
Jhunjhunu (India) - Fatal misjudgment in Jhunjhunu, India! At the end of last week, a man named Rohitash Kumar (25) was declared dead by doctors there. Then came the dramatic twist at the crematorium.
As"The Times of India" reported, citing initial investigations, the doctors had tried to resuscitate the man in the hospital. This was stopped when the ECG device only showed a flat line.
The experts then drew up a corresponding death certificate, but this was done without a prior autopsy, as it later turned out.
The document stated: "Cause of death is respiratory failure due to lung disease according to previous treatment records."
The 25-year-old was to be burned at the stake on the same day. A shocking incident occurred: shortly before the cremation, the supposedly dead man suddenly showed signs of life. He was immediately taken back to hospital and transferred to the intensive care unit.
However, Kumar's condition did not improve. He died early the next morning. Three doctors were suspended for negligence.
