This Instagram function will soon no longer exist

California - A change is imminent on the popular social media platform Instagram. Soon, a certain feature will no longer be available as before.

More specifically, it's about the story highlights on the profile. But don't worry, they won't disappear completely.

Only a new version is currently being tested. In this case, the highlights will appear in a separate tab alongside posts, reels and tags.

As social media expert Lindsey Gamble announced on Threads, the feature has been tested by the first users since last Tuesday.

However, it should then be possible to select the highlights to be displayed or even remove the highlight tab completely.
