Abused more than 300 men: Horror urologist must spend life in prison

New York (USA) - His crimes are causing horror. For years, urologist Dr. Darius Paduch (57) was up to mischief in New York's most prestigious hospitals, living out his perverse fantasies and abusing more than 300 men. Now the disgusting doctor has been sent to prison for life.

He pretended to be a caring doctor to his victims. But when he was alone with them in his treatment room, the horror doctor showed his true colors.

The allegations brought against Darius Paduch by the New York public prosecutor's office are quite something. Between 2007 and 2019, the urologist specializing in infertility is alleged to have abused 310 patients - all of them men. According to a report in the New York Post, the acts took place in the best hospitals in the city.

When his disgusting tendencies got the better of him, no one was safe from the friendly-looking doctor. His victims included pensioners as well as minors. Some men had to endure the abuse for years.

In 2023, the sex offender's activities came to light and the 57-year-old has been in custody ever since. On Wednesday, Judge Ronnie Abrams sentenced him to life imprisonment.

Under the guise of medical treatment, Dr. Paduch forced his patients to masturbate in front of him, penetrated the unsuspecting men with his finger without gloves and pressed his erect penis against their bodies during the consultation, the New York Post reports.

The habitual rapist is said to have humiliated some patients, for example by making them walk around the doctor's office on all fours. For others, he performed completely unnecessary operations such as penis enlargement. In some cases, he is said to have arranged cystoscopies, a procedure in which a tube is inserted into the urethra - without anesthesia.

The urologist is also said to have included sex toys in his criminal activities.

"Darius Paduch exploited more male patients than any other sex offender in history," said Anthony DiPietro, a lawyer representing the interests of several victims. "Paduch's abuse was perverse and pervasive," added prosecutor Damian Williams.

The matter is likely to have repercussions for Paduch's former employers. Victims' representatives have already announced their intention to sue for damages and compensation for pain and suffering.
