Shocking incident: Little boy is put in dryer by three adults
Texas (USA) - In Harris County in the US state of Texas, police officers were called to a laundromat after being informed by concerned citizens. There they found a visibly frightened little boy. What had happened?
The six-year-old was probably in the "Hi Tek Washataria" with three adults and became angry because he had lost a bag of potato chips.
One of the three adults then put the small child in a tumble dryer and locked the door, as the district police officer Mark Herman wrote in a message on Facebook.
Other guests at the laundromat became aware of this and promptly called the police.
When the officers arrived and saw the distraught boy, they wanted to arrest the three suspects immediately - but one tried to make off.
All three went to prison
A police officer immediately tried to give chase, but was pushed by Life Ford, another suspect. She and the last of the three, Haven Duncan, were arrested in the store.
A loaded firearm was recovered from him during the arrest. The fugitive, later identified as Jaqory Gill, was also eventually apprehended through a police roadblock.
All three were taken to the Harris County Jail to face various charges. Hardest hit was Duncan, the one who locked up the helpless boy. His bail was set at 10,000 dollars (approx. 9500 euros).
