Woman is busy with her cell phone on the train: When she looks up, panic breaks out

Dublin (Ireland) - Donna had an uneasy feeling as soon as she boarded the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) train. The Irish woman, who had just come from shopping in Dublin, was alone in her compartment. Nevertheless, she took a seat to immerse herself in her cell phone. At some point, the train stopped. Shortly afterwards, Donna panicked.

Last week, the corresponding clip (see below) went viral on TikTok. The video was posted by Donna's brother Kristopher, who initially used images from a video call with his sister.

In the recording, Donna is completely distraught, she has tears in her eyes and screams for help. The reason: the train didn't go to the woman's destination, but to the depot!

Donna is now stuck there because the train is locked. While the stowaway is really upset, her brother is having a great time. He is shown in his car at the bottom right of the conversation.

A hard cut follows. Kristopher is now filming the scene himself. He has arrived at the depot. But the next problem awaits him there.

Viral TikTok video shows curious story

As the Irishman wanders around the site, he meets two railroad employees. Unfortunately, he can't tell the men exactly where his sister is, only that she must be on one of the trains.

After some back and forth, one of the railroad men finally manages to track Donna down and free her. He is even kind enough to carry her shopping bags.

The curious story is very well received on TikTok. Within a week, the video has received a good 870,000 clicks and more than 125,000 likes. Meanwhile, some users assume that Donna must have fallen asleep.

But her brother contradicted this a little later on Instagram, where he also shared the video: "She got on the train and it was empty. She thought it was only quiet because of the time of night. She sat on the train, put on her headphones and looked at her phone. And before she knew it, she was standing at the station."

This story shows once again that you shouldn't get too engrossed in your cell phone. The blurred edge around it is called life.
