According to a post by Gideon Rachman (61), the chief foreign affairs commentator of the Financial Times, on the Twitter follower "X", North Korean soldiers in Russia have developed a taste for porn.

He wrote: "A trusted source has told me that North Korean soldiers stationed in Russia have never had unfiltered access to the internet before. As a result, they devour pornography."

Thousands of soldiers from North Korea are said to have been sent to Russia for training back in October.

The aim is to support the country in its war of aggression against Ukraine.

Limited Internet access in North Korea

Only a handful of selected people have access to the global internet in the authoritarian Asian state.

The rest of the population can only access the state intranet ("Kwangmyong"), which is controlled and censored by the state.
