In the clip, Romeo can be seen running restlessly through the apartment, resting on the couch in between and - when his master finally arrives - even attaching a cuddly toy to greet him.

"When he first started doing this, I was confused because he always follows me around the house and stays close to me," dog owner Jenn told Newsweek.

"Around 5 p.m., however, Romeo starts looking for his master at the front door. If the door doesn't open, he hangs his head and lies back down on the couch. But any noise makes him jump up with excitement," said Jenn.

By now, the couple has become well accustomed to their favorite's routine. Both are looking forward to many more wonderful years together with their dog.
