A woman on TikTok, who is active under the user name "badybole", shared a video showing her new family member: a cute, white and brown tomcat.

The US-American and her partner discovered the velvet paw in an animal shelter and immediately fell in love with the cuddly kitty.

At first, the new owners were surprised when they learned that the four-legged friend had already been adopted once, but the man had returned him to the shelter. However, when they arrived home with the animal, they quickly realized what had most likely been the reason.

When "badybole's" partner took the animal onto his lap, it didn't waste a second to immediately look for an uncovered patch of skin and lick it right off. In the case of the US American, the four-legged friend lunged at the earlobe.

"He has mommy-issues," the TikToker wrote in the clip.

The term, which comes from psychology, usually refers to males who have been neglected by their mother or have never had one. To make up for this bond, the cat probably showers his new owners with excessive love.

His previous owner had probably expected a much more distant cat or was unable to cope with the excessive closeness.

Fortunately, the cat's behavior was no problem at all for his current owners. They enjoy the cuddly nature of the furry friend and have already celebrated the first anniversary of the adoption.

They now even have another cat living with them, who also enjoys the cat 's expressions of love.

On TikTok, users celebrated the fact that the four-legged friend has finally found the right home where he can be who he is. The clip has already been clicked on more than 2.6 million times.
