According to BBC reports, the 36-year-old broke into a house in Monmouthshire on July 16. Instead of stealing high-value items, the man cleaned and mopped the house, hung up the washing and emptied the recycling garbage can.

He also allegedly filled the bird feeder in the garden, cooked himself a meal in the kitchen, rearranged the flower pots and drank a bottle of wine. The burglar had also indulged in sweets.

In court, the homeowner said: "I was too scared to stay in my own home and went to stay with a friend."

In the two weeks leading up to the man's arrest, she had wondered whether it was someone who knew her or had even been stalking and spying on her.

Two weeks later, a similar incident occurred

A similar incident occurred on July 29.

Video surveillance footage showed Wojnilowicz washing his clothes in a shower at someone else's house. He also consumed food and drink and left the hot tub dirty.

The owner was informed of the break-in by cell phone and sent his son-in-law to the house. He asked the man, who appeared drunk, to leave the premises, which he did.

Tabitha Walker, defense attorney for the defendant, said in court that Wojnilowicz was reportedly homeless and struggling at the time of the break-ins. He would apologize to the victims.

However, the judge found, "This was a significant intrusion into their homes." The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary.
