Dog lives in prison parking lot for weeks - when woman tries to help her, she bursts into tears

California (USA) - What a sad fate: For two weeks, a small dog sat lonely and alone in the parking lot of a prison.

Although the staff at the facility kept feeding her - they even gave her a dog basket - the four-legged friend was still too scared to approach anyone.

"As soon as anyone even looked at her, she ran for her tiny life," Suzette Hall has since reported on her Facebook account. "To think that she was completely alone and scared for so long makes me so sad."

So it's no wonder that she immediately set off to save this little soul's life.

"When I arrived last night and saw her sleeping in her little bed, my heart sank," she continued. "She was so small."

As soon as she saw Hall, the fur nose ran away again.

Without further ado, the animal rescuer set up a trap and took cover so that the little dog wouldn't see her again.

Bitch is finally safe

And sure enough, after a short while, the lady dog came back.

"After about 15 minutes, I went back quietly and slowly and there she was, sitting in the cage, safe and sound," Hall explained with relief. The US-American couldn't hold it in any longer: "I cried because her two weeks of being so completely alone were finally over! This little girl was finally safe."

She would have loved to show her followers on Facebook the last area where the four-legged friend had to live. Fortunately, none of that matters now.

The focus is on the little dog, who finally no longer has to worry about having a roof over her head. Thanks to Hall's help, she will soon be able to slumber in her new forever basket.
