Dachshund meets his owner's baby: What happens next melts millions of hearts

It shows the very first meeting of baby Easton (six months) and dachshund Sherman. Since the clip went online, it has made millions of hearts skip a beat.
Because the dog and baby make their living room in Columbus, Ohio, shake from the very first moment.
While little Easton laughs enthusiastically, sweet Sherman scurries around him like a whirlwind.
Again and again, dad has to slow down the excited male while mom captures everything on video.
"This went on for 30 minutes straight," writes Kirsten McKinney (28) next to her curious TikTok clip.
But she hadn't expected her son's reaction in this form. The US-American recently explained why in an interview with Newsweek.

"We have a cat and he has only recently started to take notice of it. He usually smiles and wants to stroke it when it passes nearby. So I thought his reaction would be similar. But his reaction to meeting a dog was definitely different. He just loves dogs and something about them is very funny to him," explained the 28-year-old.
A small drop of bitterness: Sherman the dachshund is not part of the family. Unfortunately, he was only there for a week. Baby Easton will therefore not have him by his side every day in the coming years.
But at least the little boy has already set an example. His enthusiasm and joie de vivre have garnered him more than 27 million clicks and 3.9 million likes on TikTok.
"I hope that Easton's childhood is full of magical moments like this and that I will be lucky enough to experience more of them," says his mother. Otherwise, she is also very happy about the great success on TikTok.
