These two secret ingredients will really spice up your roast potatoes

Germany - Roast potatoes go well with many different dishes and are simply a delicious side dish. But did you know that you can really spice them up with two ingredients? If not, then watch out!

The two secret ingredients are vinegar and salt! Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson revealed this on her Instagram account.

But before these two are used, the potatoes should first be boiled until they are soft. Then they need to dry.

Once they have cooled and dried, they can be halved or simply mashed gently with a fork, according to Lawson.

Add some oil to the pan and fry the potatoes for 20 minutes. You should fry them on all sides until they are golden brown and crispy.

Then place the golden brown potatoes in a bowl and brush them with vinegar and sprinkle with salt. How much depends on how flavorful you want the roast potatoes to be.
