Flames of death in LA! Meghan Markle makes difficult decision

Los Angeles (USA) - For Meghan Markle (43), 2025 was supposed to be a kind of new beginning after turbulent years. She wanted to take off again on Netflix with her own lifestyle series. But the terrible flames in Los Angeles put a spanner in the works for the Duchess of Sussex.

In "With love, Meghan", Prince Harry 's wife (40) wanted to "reinvent the lifestyle show genre" and "combine practical everyday instructions with open conversations with friends, new and old". But nothing will come of it for now ...

The show was supposed to premiere on Netflix in just two days, on January 15. However, the streaming giant has announced that the start of the series has been postponed!

The premiere of "With love, Meghan" has been postponed at the request of the former actress "with full support". The eight episodes will now be available to watch from March 4.

The postponement was triggered by the "ongoing devastation caused by the forest fires in Los Angeles". Meghan herself also made an emotional statement about her show.

"I am grateful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch," the Duchess said.

The 43-year-old explained that it was currently necessary to "focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in my home state of California".

Although Meghan and her husband Harry are not themselves directly affected by the inferno of flames raging in Los Angeles and the surrounding area, they know many people who have lost their homes in recent days through their lives in California and their close friendships with numerous Hollywood stars.

The (ex-)royals saw the disaster for themselves on site and distributed food and supplies to the victims of the fires. They are also said to have provided financial aid through their Archewell Foundation.
