27-year-old Rhiannon Skye Whyte was stabbed in the neck at a train station in England on her way home.

After her shift at the four-star hotel at 11pm on Sunday, she was due to catch the 11.21pm train, but a passer-by alerted police a short time later after finding her unconscious.

As The Sun reports, Whyte was put on life support in hospital but sadly died three days later.

An 18-year-old suspect was arrested on Sunday evening shortly after the crime. It is believed that there had previously been an argument at the hotel over a packet of cookies.

The suspect, who arrived in Britainwithout papers last July and applied for asylum, was remanded in custody on Tuesday and charged with murder.
